Booking Status Types

The 3 main Temp Booking reports on the 'Jobs' toolbar menu are:

  • Open
  • Filled
  • Current


When temporary bookings are entered into the system, they will appear on these reports, depending on the bookings' status. The different booking status' are explained below:

The other status types are;

  • Cancelled - ie Booking cancelled by client
  • DE Error - ie data entry error and booking should not have been created
  • Did Not Fill - ie did not fill the booking (unsure of outcome - client may have filled themselves)
  • Filled Competitor - ie a competing agency filled the booking


Current Bookings

These are temp bookings which have a status of "In Progress"; the temp booking has been filled and the temporary candidate is currently on assignment working for the client.

Open Bookings

These are temp bookings which are "Open", have not been filled / yet to be filled, ready for a candidate to be placed into the assignment.

Filled Bookings

These are temp bookings which are "Open - Filled"; a candidate has been selected & filled in the booking, but they are yet to commence the assignment. When the candidate starts, the booking needs to be activated ('Start Job'). Users have the ability to "Start" the booking (see: Temp Orders: Start Job) once the candidate commences the assignment.

Completed Bookings

These are located within each Company record and not on the JOBS toolbar.

These are temp bookings where the assignment has been completed or finished, and they are closed. These bookings also can be populated on the Roster, if the dates of the booking fall within the specified 7-day date payroll period (see Roster).


All Bookings

These are located within each Company record and not on the JOBS toolbar.

View a report of ALL temp bookings for a particular Company/Client record.


Cancelled Bookings

These are located within each Company record and not on the JOBS toolbar.

View a report of all cancelled temp bookings for a particular Company/Client record.
