Record Types in RecruitOnline

In RecruitOnline, at the simplest level there are three main types of records - these being;

  • Company Records
  • Contact Records
  • Candidate Records

A Company record = eg XYZ Company Ltd - usually a physical place/address

A Contact Record = eg John Smith - Production Manager @ XYZ Company Ltd

A Candidate Record = eg Jane Doe - a candidate who has applied for a Job. In the instance that you have a Contact who is also a Candidate, you would have two distinct records for them (ie one Contact and one Candidate)

The RecruitOnline system functionality is built around the connections between each of these records.
